Our Initiatives

ILF-Ghana has three main initivatives and they are as follows:

TLG Seminars

1. TLG Seminars

It is aimed at creating a community of transformational leaders with integrity who can both accept responsibility for the transformation of their spheres of influence and engagement. TLGS targets leaders from government, business, non-governmental organizations, religious and civil societies from across Africa driven by a strong desire to help in transforming the continent. ILF-Ghana has conducted Transforming Leadership and Governance Seminars in several African countries. Those trained include Cabinet Ministers, Military Officers, Police Officers, Local Government Assemblies, Parliamentarians, the Judiciary, Church Leaders, Conference of Directors of Education, University Senior Staff, University Students, High School Students, among others.

LADS Y2L Program

2. Leadership and Development Studies (LADS/Y2L)

The LADS/Y2L program develops young people aged 11–25 into transformational leaders. It helps them build Character, Competence, and Connection — the 3Cs of leadership — while inspiring them to design and implement personal and community transformation projects.

The program integrates spiritual, social, political, intellectual, economic, and lifestyle components for holistic development. It’s implemented through schools, universities, and youth clubs, supported by trained ILF mentors who guide young leaders to live purposefully.

LADS has been successfully tested in schools in Cameroon and Ghana, with Y2L Clubs growing into vibrant communities of youth committed to transformation.

Technology Literacy Program

3. Technology Literacy Initiative

The Technology Literacy Initiative equips young people aged 11–25 with digital skills for leadership in a rapidly evolving world. It promotes innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity through hands-on learning in coding, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

Participants learn through immersive activities such as:

  • Hello World Bootcamp: A foundational coding and robotics workshop where participants build their first digital projects.
  • Future Readiness Workshop: A one-day seminar introducing youth to emerging technologies, AI, and tech-driven careers.

Through guided mentorship, participants grow as tech-savvy leaders who use innovation to create positive change in their communities.
