Percy Amoo-Yankey is a seasoned management consultant, leadership strategist, executive coach and organisational transformation practitioner with more than three decades of experience developing leaders, strengthening institutions and advising organisations across Africa.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with more than 250 organisations across approximately 20 African countries, spanning the private sector, public institutions, development organisations, educational institutions, faith-based organisations and civil society. He believes that sustainable institutional performance is ultimately shaped not only by strategy and systems, but by the character, competence and leadership capacity of the people entrusted with them.

His mandate at ILF Ghana

As Executive Director, he is leading a new phase in the development of ILF Ghana: strengthening governance and institutional systems, expanding national reach, deepening strategic partnerships, developing a multidisciplinary faculty of facilitators and coaches, and repositioning ILF Ghana as a nationally respected Centre of Excellence for Transforming Leadership.

Central to this agenda is the advancement of ILF’s proprietary 12Cs Transforming Leadership Architecture as a practical framework for developing leaders who can lead themselves, develop others, strengthen institutions, navigate change and multiply leadership across generations.

His vision is for ILF Ghana to move beyond conventional leadership training to become an institution that develops leaders, strengthens leadership systems, advances leadership knowledge, builds leadership pipelines and contributes meaningfully to societal transformation.

“Transforming leadership begins with the transformation of the leader. Our task is not simply to develop better-informed leaders, but leaders of integrity whose influence strengthens institutions, develops others and contributes to the transformation of society.”
