3-day staff development workshop strengthens purpose, ethics and excellence in the digital age.

The Headmistress, Mrs. Jeanette Ruby Siameh, and the management team of Wesley Girls’ High School collaborated with ILF Ghana to conduct a 3-day staff retreat and leadership development workshop using Transforming Leadership and Governance Course 2.

The training theme was Working with purpose: Professional Ethics, Wellbeing and Excellence in the Digital Age. The workshop served management, teaching and non-teaching staff, while Form 2 and Form 3 students also experienced ILF’s Leadership and Development Studies programme.

  • 200 teaching and non-teaching staff participated.
  • Over 2,000 students joined the Y2L leadership development sessions.
  • 93.7% said they would recommend a third programme with ILF.
  • Capacity Building emerged as the highest learning outcome theme.

Why it is strategic

The evaluation showed strong appetite for practical leadership, communication, collaboration and digital age capacity building.
